On November 4 Lithuania Post issues a postage stamp to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first Lithuanian opera “Birutė” (designer I. Balakauskaitė). A first day cover and a first day sheet will be also issued.
In Vilnius Main Post Office the outgoing mail prepaid with the new stamps will be cancelled with a first day cancellation on this day.
